Going into this show I had listened to Jason on his podcast, You Optimized Radio, as well as other shows and was very impressed.
Being able to interview him was another treat for me. We dove into the topics of proper light exposure, using a slight caloric deficit and shortened eating windows for health and longevity and of course the thing that left me with my mouth wide open, that Hippocrates did not say “let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Certainly lots of takeaways in this show, some of which are still benefiting me since adding or simply tweaking my daily practices. Specifically, getting outside no matter what for 5-10 minutes immediately upon rising.
