It is with great pleasure that I bring back a great friend of mine, Mark Radio Personal Trainer, for an amazing conversation. It took too long for me to post it so I must apologize to him for that. We dive into personal training of course and how he has been adapting to working with clients during the shutdown as well as how he has been adapting to his family life during this since it really is a bit different for all of us. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did and hopefully can take a few pieces of advise to best improve your health, fitness and life!

Mark’s Bio (from his website here)
After graduating Bloomsburg University in 2008 with a B.A. in Exercise Science I worked at 3 different commercial gyms at once. Long hours, travel, and minimal pay was outweighed by the experience I gained and great people I got to work with. About a year and a half into training I got tired of the typical commercial gym personal training. It was priced high, people were pressured into a sale, and were treated as a number rather than a person. My co-trainers seemed to lack enthusiasm as they were all at these gyms longer than me. They seemed to have lost that spark. I did not want to become like them. I had to get out. Radio Personal Training was then started in 2010 with the objective of offering high level in-home and on-site personal training.
Through the years I continued Radio Personal Training while gaining experience in other avenues of the fitness industry. I worked and studied under the highly decorated physical therapy clinic Robbins Rehabilitation. This experience taught me numerous lessons on of postural strength, corrective movements, and “prehab” exercises I can use with my clients.
I then started managing the premier personal training gym in my hometown of Allentown Pa, Body Elite. This experience has again brought me in front of a wide variety of clientele, but also taught me the great lessons in managing and teaching other trainers and running a prospering business.
I started my original blog and social media postings in 2014 under Hardcore Home Fitness, LLC. This website was dedicated to giving people practical fitness information that they could easily apply to their life and in the practice of their own home.
In the summer of 2016 I decided to take a break from blog writing and posting and chose to put the focus on my family. My daughter Nora was born that summer and I wanted to put my free time towards her and my wife.
Now a little over two years later it feels like a great time to start sharing my thoughts and ideas on a more consistent basis again. I do not want to limit my topics to just in-home fitness, so I will now be writing and posting under my name Mark Radio and at the site markradiopt.com.
I encourage you all that if you like or get any benefit from a particular post or this site in general that you subscribe to the email.list and like and share these posts with a friend who may need this information. Thanks in advance.
To Your Health,
Mark Radio
